What's Valentine's Day without a little rant?

Happy Yellowjackets Season Three Premiere Day! Or to some folks, Valentine's Day, I guess. This month, I'm coming to paid subscribers with something a little different, because I am pretty much out of fiction writing I can share with you. I have more, but they're things I do hope to do something with someday, if I ever get off my ass and focus on one project at a time, so I'm going to keep those a little closer to the vest for now.

Today I'm here with a thematic movie review! Well, part movie review, part rant. Because I went to see Love Hurts starring Ariana DeBose (and okay fine also Ke Huy Quan) this past weekend and was surprised when I went online to see critics bombing it. So I want to talk about it! There will be spoilers for this movie within, but I don't think knowing the plot will ruin the enjoyment of it, because the plot, in this case, is not the point. (Nor is it really the point of my rant.)
